Celebrating 15 Years of Community Impact: Al-Maa’uun’s 15 for 15 Campaign

For 15 years, Al-Maa’uun has been walking beside families, youth, elders, and neighbors in North Minneapolis with dignity, love, and steady support. What started as a small effort to help a few families has grown into a community movement built on a simple belief:

Neighbors helping neighbors is how change begins.

Today, Al-Maa’uun provides warm meals for families and elders, mentorship for youth, diapers and supplies for parents, job training and career support for adults, housing help for families in crisis, and recovery and re-entry support for neighbors rebuilding their lives. Every program is grounded in dignity, respect, and real relationships.

The 15 for 15 Campaign celebrates this work by inviting 150 supporters to give $15 a month. This small monthly gift makes a big impact because it keeps programs running all year long. It helps us serve dinner every week, support young people, provide stability for families, and show up for neighbors during their hardest moments.

To help raise support, Al-Maa’uun also launched the 15 for 15 merchandise collection, including ceramic mugs, hoodies, and long-sleeve polos. When someone donates or makes an order, they’re not just getting an item — they’re helping keep these community programs strong.
