Career Staffing

We act as a community based staffing organization to help connect community members to a livable wage on a
temp-to-hire basis. Vocational opportunities vary based on the needs of employers. Our goal is to get people to work quickly.

We partner with individuals to build skills and connect with opportunities for meaningful work at livable wages. We are proud to be a [email protected] partner. [email protected] is an innovative strategy by the Center for Economic Inclusion to connect 2,000 Northside African American men to sustainable, meaningful living-wage jobs.

Our Approach

What does Al-Maa’uun do to help the unemployed workforce?

We offer career services that address the full spectrum of issues that individuals face when trying to find employment. We provide assistance from resume review all the way through to job training, temporary employment, etc.

How do you fund and supply your programs?

As a non-profit we are fully funded by the generous donations of those who give. That is why we ask that you consider supporting our mission. We also rely on community partnerships to help further our cause. We are seeking partnerships to continue in this work.

How is what Al-Maa’uun offers different from other programs?

We don’t fixate on our differences. We work to unify the community in service. Our deep respect for the nuance of neighbors’ needs and aspirations lies at the heart of Al-Maa’uun’s collaborative programming.

[email protected] is an innovative strategy by the Center for Economic Inclusion to connect 2,000 Northside African American men to sustainable, meaningful living-wage jobs. The strategy reduces systemic barriers to employment and economic opportunity for African American men. [email protected] offers unique interventions and a collaborative approach to change the way the service partners work cooperatively to improve economic conditions in North Minneapolis.

[email protected] engages employers to eliminate workplace bias, expands access to credentialed training that is tailored to work opportunities, and engages trusted community-based partners to provide outreach, assessment, training, placement and coaching support.
